Flamenco in Granada at Springtime fiesta - 7 nights
Dancing and Music in the Streets! Every year, at the beginning of May, the magical Andalusian town of Granada erupts into its biggest party of the year - Las Cruces de Mayo. Over two or three days, the city squares are flooded with music (traditional folk Sevillanas music and Spanish pop music), food, drink and dancing. Why not come down and join in the fun?
This holiday offers flamenco courses directed at Complete Beginner, Beginner and Elementary levels.
Take optional Sevillanas classes in the morning and your Flamenco course in the afternoon. In addition, your holiday can include delicious meals in carefully chosen restaurants, cultural outings and sightseeing, and of course, fantastic nights out dancing all night (literally) in the festive town squares to the pounding Fiesta beat.

The Alegría of the Spanish Fiesta! To take part in a Spanish fiesta is to experience the alegría and wonder of Andalucía. The fiesta is continuous socialising, fun, drinking, dancing over a short space of time in which the whole family participates – toddlers, teenagers through to grandparents! See Sevillanas danced as it was when it was first born – with attitude and passion!
Las Cruces de Mayo is an Andalucían spring festival celebrating the triumph of life over death. The atmosphere is one of music, good food and drink, joy for living and dancing (either Sevillanas or popular music). Locals flood into the town centre, some arriving on horseback, some in feria dresses and some in traditional costume. Each square has amplified music for dancing and every corner of the town is filled with 'alegría' well into the small hours in true inimitable Andalucian style. Las Cruces de Mayo takes place every year on the 3rd May (the last day of your holiday). Most of the activities will take place on that day, although the stalls will probably be set up on Monday and most locals will inevitably begin the festivities a little earlier...
